Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit eligible position that reports to the Custodial Supervisor. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The hours for this position are from 4pm-12:30am with a half an hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.Duties & Responsibilities:Daily duties as assignedClean bathroomsClean ClassroomsClean office spacesSweeping, mopping, vacuuming etc.Assist with event set ups including cleaning the dining hall or other spaces as designated.Other duties as assignedEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentStrong communication skills in English preferredCustodial Experience PreferredKnowledge, Skills & Ability:Ability to make decisions and problem solve relative to urgency.Ability to prioritize and coordinate a multitude of tasksAttention to detail.Ability to work independently and under stress making time sensitive decisions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Physical Requirements:Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Stand for long periods of time.Ability to lift, pull, & push up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand on your feet for up tp 8 hoursWork in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.All employees at CA are expected to carry out the CA Mission, "Creating Curious, Kind, Courageous, and Adventurous Learners and Leaders," to support the vision of CA, and to contribute to the life of the school outside of the classroom.This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications required for the position.
