Auto Dealership Tag & Title Clerk Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tag & Title Clerk to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process vehicle titles and registrations in a timely manner Submit all legal transfer documents to the appropriate state agency Verify accuracy of title applications, VINs, lien information, and customer data Prepare and submit out-of-state title work as needed Track and follow up on title issues, missing documents, and pending deals Maintain organized records of all title and registration paperwork Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies regarding title status Reconcile schedules and report discrepancies to management Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state regulations Job Requirement:Qualifications Previous automotive title clerk experience preferred Knowledge of DMV processes and state title regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) Excellent communication and customer service skills Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of administrative or dealership experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience [Health, Dental, Vision Insurance] [401(k) with company match] Paid time off and holidays Employee discounts Why Join Us?
