Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone willing to be the brand's voice and manage the marketing budget to produce property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral that will generate revenue and meet property targets. $60,000 yearly

• Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with patrons
• Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organization
• Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients
• Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand
• Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department
• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
