Caregiver Position

We seek a professional, experienced caregiver available to work full time 7a-7p, 2-3 days/week and alternating weekends (required). Caring for a client in the 77059 area. Responsibilities include:

• Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes in condition to the agency Administrator.
• Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Assist in daily ambulation as needed.

Skills required include:

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, family, co-workers, and agency Administrators.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to lift and assist residents safely while adhering to proper techniques.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to providing respectful care.
• Dependable and equipped with reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent availability.
• Dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a proven ability to consistently honor work schedule commitments.

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour.
