There is a strong focus on client networking, negotiating pricing, and handling hotshots, truckloads, and special projects. What You’ll Do Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Develop and nurture relationships with shippers and carriers to foster long-term partnerships. Source carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and secure transportation services that align with customer needs. Handle customer accounts by providing tailored logistics solutions and maintaining high-quality service levels. Actively network with clients and prospective customers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and new business. Address issues related to shipment delays, carrier performance, and logistics challenges, providing solutions swiftly. Handle hotshot, truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and specialized shipments with high levels of customer interaction. Prepare documents, including bills of lading, freight quotes, and contracts, while ensuring compliance with transportation laws and safety standards. What You Bring to the Table Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role. Proven ability to provide top-tier customer service to both shippers and carriers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Knowledge around managing various types of shipments, including hotshots, FTL, and LTL.
