Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounting Manager is a key member of the Finance organization, and would be assisting in month end close, working through reconciliations and assisting with ad hoc requests. He/she will have significant relevant experience with all areas of financial accounting and controls in addition to relationship management within finance and all other operational groups. This role will partner with the senior manager to work through audit requests and ensure all practices are following the correct accounting guidelines and procedures and ensure the financial management of the company as a whole.Duties & Responsibilities:Participates in the financial accounting ensure all financial data is accurate and timelyProvide strategic and day-to-day leadership for the function, coordinating activities and managing direct reports, including outsourced 3rd parties, to achieve the goals and initiatives needed to ensure success including, but not limited to, the following areas:AuditAccounting policyControls environmentAssisting in the closing process (timely, accurate, efficient)Preparation and review of reconciliationsReceipt disbursementsWorking cross departmentally to ensure financial reporting accuracyCash management and banking relationshipsOn-going management and assessment of the GL/ERP systemsMeet all reporting and compliance requirementsAssisting with ongoing management of the internal controls programMaintain financial objectives, policies, and controlsPrepare reports to support agile decision making in a dynamic business environmentAd hoc projects which arise periodicallyQualifications and Sills:At least 5 years of significant progressive accounting experienceCPA preferredNetsuite exposure preferredThe ideal candidate will have worked in the healthcare sector (Hospital (for profit) or large multi- location physician practice management) and in a fast-paced growing companyDetailed knowledge of state-of-the-art accounting systems and processes to create valueDemonstrated ability to acquire, retain and develop talentBenefits:US Oral Surgery Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
