Selous National Park – Tanzania

The Selous Game Reserve covers a total area of 50,000 km2 and has additional buffer zones. The diverse wildlife of the savannah includes African bush elephants, black rhinos, hippopotamus, African Lions, East African wild dogs, Cape buffaloes, Masai giraffes, Plain’s zebra, and Nile crocodile. Permanent human habitation is not permitted within the reserve. All human entry and exit are controlled by the Wildlife Division of the Tanzanian Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
