Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding career that will allow you to make an impact? Do you like to have fun at work and have a heart for helping others? Would you like to work Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) and have nights and weekends off?
If so, we would love to talk!
At Life of Liberty, we are all about “Promoting Successful Independence” for those we serve. In fact, it’s what makes us different. While there are many good adult day programs out there, we truly strive to create an environment where our participants can learn and engage through interactive and educational programming. The results we produce are nothing short of amazing and we are looking for people like YOU to join us in our mission.
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for using your skills and talents to create a fun, warm, welcoming environment for our participants and to help them develop and enhance their social, vocational, functional, academic, interpersonal, and life skills. One moment you could be teaching an arts and crafts class, then next moment you could be going on an outing to a local art center. The next moment you could be teaching math and science skills, then you might be taking our participants to a local street fair. With each moment, you’ll have a tremendous opportunity to make a difference. And, your life will be impacted in the process.
Additional responsibilities include teaching program curriculum, transporting participants in a company-provided vehicle, completing documentation, providing behavioral support, responding to safety issues, and upholding participant rights, health and welfare.
While we welcome those with experience, we are equally excited to train those who have an interest and heart for what we do.
Our full-time shifts are Monday through Friday 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Our part-time shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm OR Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am-3:30pm
Please note that hours are subject to change and are not guaranteed.
All successful candidates must have an acceptable background check, pre-employment physical, and TB test. HS Diploma or GED equivalent are required within one-year of employment. A valid drivers license is preferred, but not required.
Come join our team where your skills can make a greater impact in the lives of others!
