Job Description

Job Summary : We’re hiring a Shift Supervisor to help run our warehouse day-to-day. You will manage a team of 40-60 people loading and unloading boxes in trailers. We track who worked at what doors and when. We also strategize and carry out plans that involving moving teams from door to door or even to the other side of the warehouse. This is all tracked and notated in detail to ensure loader/unloader is pay is accurate. 

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead and support your team
• Make sure shipping and receiving runs smoothly
• Keep inventory accurate
• Help improve processes and productivity
• Maintain a safe, positive work environment

Pay: 

• $20 an hour
• plus an incentive for every 1000 boxes completed (1 trailer is usually more than 1000 boxes)

Schedules:

• ( Sun-Wed ) 7:00am- 5:30pm (We are asked to stay til 7pm frequently)
• ( Wed-Sat ) 7:00am- 5:30pm (We are asked to stay til 7pm frequently)

What you’ll do:

• Keep the team safe and following company policies
• Train and support employees to improve performance
• Track processes, perform audits, and keep counts accurate
• Use warehouse systems to manage workflow and materials
• Work with other teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Find ways to improve efficiency and productivity
• Keep accurate records of trailers completed

What we’re looking for:

• Experience leading or supervising in a warehouse (preferred)
• Solid understanding of shipping, receiving, and 3PL operations
• Strong organization and ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Experience improving processes or workflow (a big plus)
• Comfortable using warehouse systems to track inventory and operations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
• Good communication skills to work with team members and other departments
