As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver in Blanch, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while delivering customer-focused support in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual behavior, restricted-area concerns, and/or security-related issues in accordance with post orders and location protocols.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following use of force and reporting guidelines, and completing required logs, reports, and shift pass-down information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
