Job Description

A contract Physical Therapist opportunity is available to provide specialized support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 6, 2025, through August 7, 2025. This role is based in Roxbury, MA, supporting students across grades K-12.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services tailored to the specific needs of students during the ESY period.
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement therapy plans that promote student mobility and participation.
• Document progress and maintain clear communication with parents and educational team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and healthcare standards within the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school-based settings.
• Experience providing therapy services to children across K-12 grade levels.
• Safe Care Certification is preferred to support working with diverse student populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.

Schedule and Location:

• Contract position covering the ESY period from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025.
• 30 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday.
• Approximately 6 hours per day.
• Position located in Roxbury, MA.
