Position Overview
We are seeking Trauma Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide timely, high-quality care to patients with acute injuries and critical conditions in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for rapid patient assessment, prioritization of care, and supporting treatment plans to stabilize and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is confident in handling urgent situations, skilled in clinical decision-making, and committed to delivering patient-centered care while working collaboratively with trauma teams.
Pay Rates
Full-Time: $45 $55/hour
Per-Diem: $60 $70/hour
Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid assessments and triage patients
Provide emergency interventions and stabilization
Collaborate with trauma teams and physicians
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes
Document all care provided
Additional Expectations
Strong decision-making and clinical skills
Ability to remain composed and effective in urgent situations
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Requirements
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
BSN Required
Magnet-ready experience preferred
BLS and ACLS required
Trauma or ER experience preferred
