Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction

Up to $200k base + truck allowance, 401k, and bonus

Dallas, TX

A self-performing heavy civil contractor is hiring a Project Manager to support their Water/Wastewater work across the Dallas metro. This is a field-first Engineering role, focused on keeping complex public projects running smoothly, safely, and on budget.

What You’ll Do

• Support the planning and execution of water and wastewater treatment plant projects
• Assist with managing project schedules, budgets, submittals, and subcontractor coordination
• Work closely with field teams to ensure construction meets design specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and owner representatives to maintain alignment and avoid delays
• Maintain accurate project documentation, assist with forecasting, and support close-out processes
• Help monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control protocols
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other technical documentation

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of experience on water/wastewater treatment plants or heavy civil utility projects
• Solid understanding of civil, mechanical, and structural systems used in WTP/WWTP construction
• Familiarity with public sector infrastructure work and associated documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and coordination skills across the field and office personnel
