Maintain neat appearance and good personal hygiene in compliance with CSI image and uniform standards. Support and follow established safety, security, quality guidelines as well as CSI’s policies, procedures, practices, and programs. Report accidents or incidents to the manager immediately. Preserve safety of self, fellow employees, and all others in the work location by utilizing the CSI Loss Prevention process. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Essential Functions : Provide exceptional guest service. Greet and thank all customers, respond to customer questions, and assist customers to find products. Ensures the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. using company processes, involving the appropriate people in emergency situations, and communicating all significant incidents Aware of actionable insights to mitigate shortage risks in order to drive sales, improve accuracy and in-stocks through theft prevention and resolution, and lead through emergency events to protect our guest, team and brand. Provide a strong and friendly visual presence to deter theft and other criminal activities and to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for employees and customers. Regularly patrol and monitor the station, including internal and exterior property parking lots and fuel islands. Be attentive, observant, and alert, promptly report any unusual occurrences, as appropriate, to facility management or law enforcement; prepare written report as requested. Respond appropriately to security and safety issues, leverage de-escalation techniques and other tools in accordance with CSI’s policies. Provides required documentation of stations incidents and activities to the station management. Other duties as assigned by management include: Station cleaning of the indoor and outdoor facilities including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash, if applicable. Display goods in an orderly manner throughout the store and continuously ensure shelves are full of products. This includes both the retail space and cooler locations in the store. Requirement/Qualifications : Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and/or coworkers on work-related matters. Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Ability to engage with customers and build positive, helpful rapport through effective and friendly communications. Ability to handle challenging situations and make decisions in a timely manner. Demonstrated skills in de-escalation of customer situations. Ability to write reports. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directive. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in team settings. Security and loss prevention experience preferred. Supervisor Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel Rare, limited to required training and coverage for nearby stations. Physical Demands Include but are not limited to: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on hard and uneven surfaces. Ability to bend, lift, push, and move product using proper lifting techniques. Follow the team-lift concept if objects are too heavy or awkward and if over 25 pounds. Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions during daylight hours. Moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers at 34 F or lower. Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards. Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California, Oregon or Washington locations. Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work Graveyard shift from 10pm to 6am. We offer $1.25 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. USA based job position at local station. Visas will not be granted.
