The Associate is responsible for providing structure, marketing and execution activities supporting senior members of the team. May on a rotational basis provide transactional, statistical analysis and executional support to the team.Depth & Scope:Works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officerResearches and analyzes clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunitiesValues private and public companiesPerforms complex financial and M&A modelingPrepares external client proposals and internal underwriting memosPrepares client presentations based upon the aboveAssists with client negotiations and documentationResearches and analyzes clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunitiesProvides structure, transactional and marketing support at a professional and subject matter expert level to support senior team members as requiredRecommends and implements solutions, as well as providing advanced analysis or specialized work requiring specialized/advanced knowledge for own area of responsibilityDevelops and maintain contacts with market participantsProvides updates regarding institutional/retail demand and remaining TD liability for equity dealsWorks closely with/oversees junior colleagues to ensure accuracyEstablishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the BankMaintains confidentiality of client informationKeeps fully informed on market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well informed decisionsDirect, train and develop staff to enable them to meet challenges, department objectives and achieve full potentialYou are required to demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practicesEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/EconomicsSIE, Series 79 and 633+ Years of related experienceWho We Are TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
