Job Overview :
  • Location : Immerse yourself in our innovative culture! This role requires a commitment of 4 days in-office per week at our facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week).
  • Duration: 11-14 weeks (Sep 8 to Dec 11 OR Sep 21 to Dec 4)
  • Relocation Support: A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
  • Compensation: Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour.
Job Summary :

We are currently seeking an ambitiousCybersecurity Intern to support the protection of our enterprise IT systems, product development environments, and operational technology. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world security operations in a fast-growing automotive and manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to contribute and learn about securing an enterprise environment . This role offers the opportunity to build valuable experience at a fast paced, high growth startup during a critical early product stage.
What You'll Do :
  • Monitor and respond to email security threats, including phishing, malware, and spam.
  • Monitor, analyze, and triage endpoint security detections using EDR and related tools.
  • Assist with incident investigation and escalation following established security procedures.
  • Document, maintain, and help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical security processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of security monitoring, detection, and response workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to strengthen overall security posture.
Required Skills :
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
  • Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly document technical processes and findings.
Desired Skills :
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Exposure to vulnerability research, scanning, or remediation processes
  • Basic scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Understanding of the CIA triad
  • Familiarity with common security tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.)
  • Interest in compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SAE 21434, TISAX
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CC) are a plus
