About Us Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest boat club and with 20 locations across the state we are the largest franchise in the country. We provide a hassle-free boating experience to thousands of members across the Commonwealth giving them an alternative to boat ownership.
About the Role Reporting to the Director of Operations in the Operations Department, the Training Captain Manager is responsible for following strict corporate guidelines to train and certify members to operate a Freedom Boat club boat safely, anywhere in the county.
Responsibilities:
Manage the training calendar.
Ensure you are instructing using corporate and USCG guidelines.
Read and understand training policies.
Contact members with reminders, document attempts.
Deliver weekly classroom session to members (as necessary).
Train new members and complete check in/out.
Documenting all lessons and training classes.
Be an expert in small boat handling.21- 26 single and outboard engines.
Conducting vessel inspections prior to use.
Certifying or recommending retraining.
Conducting special training for members after incidents.
Train staff on boat handling and assist dock staff as needed.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

We are a Freedom Boat Club franchise owned and operated by the Carrick Group LLC/M&M Jersey Marine LLC. We operate 20 Massachusetts club locations and nine New Jersey (north Jersey shore) club locations with our operations center located in Plymouth, MA.
Freedom Boat Club is the world's oldest and largest membership boat club with over 30 years of experience offering members access to over 400 locations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. We take care of the maintenance, cleaning, repair, insurance and storage. The fleet includes bowriders, pontoons, and center console fishing boats. We work in this field because it's fun! Solitude.
