Ebenezer is offering a Free Nursing Assistant Course & Paid Training time = Nursing Assistant/NAR job with Mayo's Lake City Care Center. Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN has an outstanding opportunity to take a Free CNA course June 8th - June 19th, 2026 upon acceptance of a CNA job offer.
- Earn $16.32/hour training wage while taking Ebenezer's 2 week in-person Nursing Assistant/CNA course in June
- Upon passing our MDH approved CNA course, start working as a Nursing Assistant at our vibrant transitional care (TCU) and long term care (LTC) in Lake City, MN and receive wage increase to $23.73 per hour! Extra pay for working evening and nights
- With this training program Ebenezer will pay for CNA course, books, and required state CNA exam fees for each student hired
Required In-Person Course Schedule 2026:
Monday, June 8th Introductions, orientation to the program, and start online course modules at Lake City Care Center from 8:30AM - 4:30PM
Tuesday, June 9th - Friday, June 12th complete online modules at Lake City Care Center from 8:30AM - 4:30PM
Monday, June 15th - Friday, June 19th in-person at Lake City Care Center from 8:30AM - 4:30PM completing nursing assistant skills

Nursing Assistant/NAR duties:
- Assists adult residents/patients, based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
- May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
- Observes residents and reports status to nursing (rn/lpn) staff in a clear and concise manner
- Chart or document all cares in electronic medical record system
- Receive and give report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
Required: - Pass Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Course by 6/19/26. Then within 4 months of hire date, must pass State of MN Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide exams thus putting you on the MN Nursing Assistant registry.
- Interest in starting your health/senior care career as a nursing assistant with Lake City Care Center. Opportunities to GROW within Ebenezer.
Preferred: - Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric/older population
- Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant or related coursework
- Work experience in a customer service setting
