Overview Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) | Part-time | Negotiable Responsibilities General purpose: Create program activities that address the developmental needs of children by providing appropriate learning experiences, goals, and objectives for all contractual commitments to the California Department of Education and Early Education Support Division. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s Degree preferred. Must possess a minimum of an Associate Teacher Permit from the Commission on Teaching Credential. Minimum of 3 years of Early Childhood Education experience. Must have knowledge of FCCERS and DRDP. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required; ability to travel as needed. Computer literate and data entry. Excellent oral and writing skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proper phone etiquette. Sensitivity and ability to work well with diverse ethnic, religious, and cultural groups. Positive attitude with a desire to work with and promote the welfare of children and their families. Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with coworkers and supervisors; work as part of a team and collaborate with the department; complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
