Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment. Load and unload workpieces and electrodes, ensuring proper alignment and fixturing. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine job specifications. Adjust EDM machine parameters such as power, pulse duration, and gap voltage to achieve desired results. Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or production issues to minimize downtime. Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of EDM machines and work areas.
