Job Description
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its team in Boston, Stamford, New Haven, or New York . This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work on high-value transactions across industries while gaining hands-on experience and access to partner-level mentorship.
About the Role:
The firm is looking for an attorney with 4–7 years of law firm experience handling complex corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will have direct experience drafting and negotiating a variety of transaction documents in connection with:
Mergers and acquisitions
Venture capital transactions
Other sophisticated corporate matters involving closely held and emerging growth companies
Experience with securities law compliance and corporate governance is also preferred.
This position offers meaningful client contact, a collaborative team environment, and the ability to take on increasing responsibility in both deal execution and client advisory work.
What They’re Looking For:
JD from an accredited law school
4–7 years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Experience with M&A or venture capital transactions is required
Familiarity with securities compliance and governance matters is a plus
Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the office location is required
Compensation:
Base salary range: $185,000 – $275,000 (based on location and experience)
Total compensation may include discretionary bonuses and firm-sponsored benefits
