This role is for a Consultant, based in New York.

Our Client Consultants play a key role within our Client Solutions team, helping our clients navigate the complexities in modern marketing through supporting with the winning and delivering of projects across these areas:

  1. Organisation: e.g. marketer operating model and organisation design
  2. Ecosystem: e.g. helping marketers select their agency partners and other vendors
  3. Accountability: e.g. analysing agency and campaign data to track and improve performance

Consultants work alongside our senior leads to define and implement project plans, craft strategies and outputs to help clients solve complex problems and navigate change, communicate with key client contacts, coordinate agency partners, and work with our Client Services team on the analysis and reporting of client and agency data.

The role itself will involve a range of activities including:

  • Support the Client Solutions and Client Strategy leads in maintaining and growing important client relationships
  • Presentation: creating and conveying Mediasense work to client stakeholders of all levels, including analysis, visualization, storytelling, and persuasion
  • Conduct market research and agency assessments to inform strategic client recommendations
  • Collaborate with Client Services (analytics) teams to ingest and analyse client and agency data to develop key insights and report them to our clients
  • Manage project activities including data collection, stakeholder interviews, and performance measurement
  • Ensure on-time delivery of projects including timeline development, proactive scheduling, documentation and file management
  • Support project contracting and budgeting while working closely with Finance for accurate and on-time invoicing and receivables
  • Develop client relationships to identify new opportunities to help our clients
  • Identify training and upskilling opportunities for more junior staff while working with senior leads to develop new training materials and processes

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 6-8 + years of experience in agency or consulting roles with strong knowledge of the marketing and advertising world. (Previous experience in pitches and audit programs is a plus but not required.)
  • Self-starter: motivated to 'roll up their sleeves' and help clients navigate through complex internal and external challenges
  • Strategic and creative thinker: skilled at uncovering insights, patterns, and presenting recommendations
  • Relationship management: confident presenter who can manage clients, mitigate risks, and navigate difficult conversations on scope, timing, effort, etc.

  • Intellectual curiosity: inquisitive by nature, approaching all tasks with curiosity and enthusiasm

This is a full-time position based in our New York office

Competitive salary: $130,000 $150,000 per year
