Citrix Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Citrix Engineer. This is a 06 Months Contract to hire opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Irving, TX or Boca Raton, FL, Rochester NY or Knoxville, TN (Hybrid). Pay Range: $50 - $57/hour. Key Responsibilities:

• This role is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating the company's Citrix virtual application and desktop platforms across a hybrid infrastructure footprint that includes on-prem data centers, colocation facilities, and public cloud.
• This role focuses on advanced Citrix engineering, deep integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and the underlying compute platforms including VMware, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Google Compute Engine (GCE) as a cloud-native hypervisor.
• Design, implement, and support Citrix DaaS/CVAD solutions across hybrid environments including on-prem and Google Cloud.
• Engineer and support Citrix core components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Cloud Connectors, Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and Workspace.
• Design, configure, and support NetScaler / ADC and gateway services for secure remote access, load balancing, traffic management, and SSL/TLS.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Deep understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloud-native vs traditional hypervisor platforms.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization (vCenter / ESXi).
• Experience supporting or engineering hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform experience, including GCE, networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging.
• Preferred Qualifications: Citrix certifications (CCP, CCE-V, NetScaler), Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Network Engineer), and/or VMware certifications (VCP-DCV or equivalent).
