As the top leader, this position reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for mission fulfillment, financial stability, programs, strategy, and operational leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Collaborating with the Board of Directors to define and execute the organization's vision and long-term priorities. Sets tone, embodies values, guides strategic planning, and motivates staff.
• Operations: Managing daily activities, supervising staff to include department heads like the COO, and ensuring programs align with the mission.
• Fundraising: Develops funding strategies while spearheading major fundraising efforts, cultivating relationships with donors, and securing grants or government partnerships.
• Financial Stewardship: Overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with audit and tax requirements (e.g., IRS Form 990).
• Public Advocacy: Acts as the public face, spokesperson, and ambassador for the organization.

Reporting Structure

• The CEO/ED is hired by and reports to the Board of Directors.
• The Board provides governance and oversight, while the CEO/ED manages execution
