Job Title: Cafe Attendant- Coffee Shop

Location: Holden Beach, NC
Pay Rate: $12.00 per Hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cafe Attendant to join our coffee shop team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, provide excellent customer service, accurately handle cash transactions, and assist with maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the coffee shop.
Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions.
Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
Take customer orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen or coffee bar staff.
Assist customers with menu selections when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining area, and workstations.
Restock supplies, cups, napkins, condiments, and merchandise as needed.
Assist with general cleaning duties, including wiping tables, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Answer phone calls and provide information to customers.
Follow company policies and food safety guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Ability to accurately handle money and make change.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Experience in the *coffee industry*, especially in cafe settings,
