Overview

The Agile Coach will accelerate the delivery velocity of a large group of developers to help identify problems and define solutions.

Skills Needed

Mandatory Technical Skills - YEARS

Expert experience in Agile coaching and mentoring with Agile development teams in a large IT organization. - 5+

Demonstrated experience in IT process change efforts. - 5+

Professional coaching experience (not just consulting or training) - 5+

Experience implementing SAFe or other multi-tier framework in a large organization. - 5+

Experience in IT Project Management leadership. - 8+

Expert VersionOne hands-on experience. - 3+

Preferred Skills

Scrum Coach Certification

SAFe Agilist Certification

Professional Scrum Master Certification

Agile Certified Practitioner

Project Management Professional

Working knowledge of DevOps - 2+

Working knowledge of node.js and related technologies - 1+

Job Responsibilities

• Will be tasked with accelerating the delivery velocity of a large group of developers, very quickly identifying problems, defining solutions, and driving the organization to implement them.
• Will work with business and IT to ensure Agile principles are applied effectively. The current organizational structure includes 9 teams ranging from 3 to 28 developer team members and several layers of management positions.
• Must have the ability to influence change at the leadership level to the team level, and to develop relationships with a variety of team members and leaders.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

This position is a high profile and demanding position requiring full dedication and onsite presence 5 days a week beyond a 9-to-5 schedule.

Education and Level

Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of work experience or Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.

Public Trust Clearance Required Prior To Start
